Masks for medics in the Pacific

National Marine Pacific is encouraging yachts in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific to offload any excess medical masks or gloves for distribution to medics in need. As Covid-19 increasingly makes its presence felt through the world, we're encouraging any yachts in New Zealand, the Pacific or Australia to offload unneeded and in-date medical equipment. “If you've got excess nitrile gloves, protective masks or other medical supplies onboard and you don't think you'll need them in the coming months, the team is able to help these reach medical professionals around the Pacific, who are anticipating they could run short,” says managing director Mark Donaldson. Pacific island nations are now experiencing Covid-19 cases and these supplies will go to nations with limited resources to add an extra level of support. We're working with local officials to ensure the most-needed products are reaching the right people. Speak with one of the team and we'll be happy to facilitate a pick up from you. Alongside its normal provisions, parts and supplies deliveries, National Marine Pacific is also offering a pick up and drop off service for anyone in self isolation in Auckland who needs medical supplies or groceries. The team is standing by to help anyone who needs assistance and can also advise on quarantine requirements.
