Truffles are grown in limited quantities in both Australia and New Zealand and include the Périgord Black truffle, Bianchetto truffle (Little White) and Burgundy truffle. Though the industry in this part of the world is fairly recent - starting around the late 80s to early 90s - truffières are producing reliable output to fill the gap for superyacht chefs when European supplies are out of season.
